So I'm making my bed, putting new pillowcases on the pillows, whatever, and realise my ceiling fan is on.

I look up at it, and I'm kneeling there thinking, "...why the fuck is that on? I haven't used that in weeks."

Ergo, someone has been in my room while I was at work.

I've been told it's 'gross' that I notice these things. I think it's 'retarded' that someone wouldn't. Is it that rare for someone to walk back in a room and notice the television is off when they left it on, a door is closed when it was open, an object is here when it was put down there, etc? This does not seem like the sort of thing that should be considered a mutant ability.
